Maple-Oatmeal Scones

I was feeling a little bit low in the last few days and craving some comfort food – but not just any predictable comfort food like pasta or chocolate. I wanted something homemade, something that would make me feel content and would also satisfy my cravings. That’s why I was looking forward to the weekend, when I could finally indulge in a spot of baking. I decided to bake a batch of these maple-oatmeal scones as the idea of having them warm with a cup of coffee instantly appealed to me. Even though it took a long while to make them, they definitely did their job in lifting my mood up once I had a couple.
