This photo by Marcin Ryczek has caught my attention this week. Its beauty is striking - perfect composition, monochromatic tone and the juxtaposition between black and white, water and snow, and a human being and animals. The photograph was taken in Krakow, where the photographer lives, from a snowy river bank.
Since posting the photo on his Facebook page, Ryczek has been receiving messages from around the world, including various press agencies, newspapers and media asking for a collaboration.
I've been a fan of photography (and especially black and white photography) for as long as I can remember and this photo has definitely become one of my favourites ever.
