Spring Beauty Favourites

There have been a few beauty products that I’ve been using constantly over the past weeks in preparation for the warmer weather, so I thought I’d share with you some of my favourite ones.

Wella Professional Luxe Oil Light Oil Spray and Reconstructive Elixir – I was given both of these at the Pre-London Fashion Week Retreat (I mentioned the event here) and I’ve been using them constantly ever since. I am absolutely in love with these oils. The liquid oil is perfect to use after you’ve washed your hair as it detangles and nourishes it. The light oil spray is suitable during the day if I want to smooth frizzy hair or add shine to it. I honestly believe that both of these products made my locks much softer.

L’Erbolario Narciso Sublime Body Oil – extremely light and non-greasy, smelling of the narcissus flowers. For some reason the scent reminds me of my mum and my grandma – not sure why, but it’s a nostalgic and comforting one for me. Perhaps this is one of the other reasons I’ve enjoyed using this oil. The oil distributes smoothly over my skin and definitely keeps it soft for hours.

Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque – at a recent Dermalogica event (mentioned here) I had my face ‘mapped’ and it turned out it was a bit dry in places (cold weather and internal heating were to blame), so this masque was recommended to me. I’ve been using Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask for quite a while now (and I’m such a big fan!), but I wanted to give something else a go. I was pleasantly surprised how this masque felt on my skin and how supple it made it afterwards. I’ve been supplementing it with Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster in the affected dry areas and this combination of products has really made a difference – I am finally waving my ‘winter skin’ goodbye!

    • It really is! I used to be apprehensive towards body oils, but I’m a convert now.
