Natural History Museum

These days a trip to a museum or a gallery is a logistical challenge for me, seeing that I always have to consider a toddler’s company. Just before the summer I managed to visitΒ Natural History Museum, which is a place I haven’t been to for years and was keen to photograph it.

The building was beautifully lit inside since it was a gorgeous sunny day outside, making all the columns and features fantastically exposed. I found myself wandering through the corridors and hallways, taking hundreds of photos and marvelling at the stunning architecture. Not to mention the collection of specimens that truly leave you in awe over the nature and our beautiful planet.

  • It’s funny because I’m never a fan of dark/dim places. But oh my word, the NHM is one of my favorites! So gothic, romantic, alluring… literally every feelings runs through me. Lovely photos, as always!!

    • Thank you, Supal! I agree, there is something so utterly romantic about this place… I can’t wait to visit it again, and perhaps this time in winter so I can see it in a (literally) different light.
