My One Goal for 2016

Over the last few weeks I’ve been thinking about what I want to achieve this year. Instead of making a long list of ambitious resolutions that I may not be able to stick to, I’ve decided to focus on one thing, one goal.

This year I am focusing on my health and fitness – and no matter how selfish this may sound, I truly believe that when I give myself enough care time, feed my body with the foodΒ it needs and craves plusΒ move it gently every day, I am happier, more productive and ready to tackle other things in life. I’ve noticed it so many times – whenever I follow a nutritious diet and exercise regularly, I feel good about myself, my anxiety is at its lowest, I am more positive, I get more things done plus I am generally a nicer person to be around. So I’ve decided that this year – the year I’m turning the big 3-0 – will be the year I focus on myself first.

I will be sharing my health and fitness journey with you here (which will also help me feel more accountable!) and any other reflections along the way. Who else is focusing on health and wellbeing this year?
