The weather in London has been a bit annoying recently. Cold, rainy and extremely windy sometimes. This whole unpredictability makes me miss a good ol’ Polish winter, with snow, cold temperatures and none of this ice-cold rain.
On days when the weather is not at all pleasant, all you want to do is hibernate. Stay on the sofa, under blankets and watch Toy Story with your kid (only me? oh, okay). But sometimes you gotta get out of the house, get on with your business, run errands and meet other people. So on one of these cold and rainy days I did venture out and luckily I found myself in a cute little eatery in Covent Garden called Jar Kitchen.
I ordered a flat white to perk me up on this very grey morning and perused the menu. Totally up my street. Delicious, clean and organic foods, served alongside yummy teas (and coffees) and amazing mocktails (this one right here is a blueberry and rosemary concoction – yum!).
After a breakfast like this I was ready to face the busy day ahead. I guess getting out of the house wasn’t that bad after all.
